Granted, there's little new in this mod as far as magicka sabers and spells go but I'm proud of the way I've introduced these into the game. I enjoyed playing "Knights of the Old Repulic 1 and 2" so much that I tried very hard to integrate those ideas into this skyrim mod.

In many ways, Relics of Hyrule is an expertly crafted mod that's critically underrated when it comes to Skyrim mods. It doesn't intrude on a normal Skyrim playthrough either, easily intertwining itself with base-game locations. Zelda fans should find a lot of enjoyment in this mod, as it does an amazing job blending the worlds of Skyrim and Hyrule while staying true to the lore of both. There are some who have unique abilities to make them a bit more accurate to their Zelda versions, such as the Draugr-like Redeads having a paralyzing scream. Most of these enemies act like varients of existing Skyrim foes like Draugr and Daedra.
While players shouldn't expect to see any characters from the Zelda series physically appear in the game, plenty of enemies from the games populate dungeons. There are also several items that help guide players towards certain locations, though they'll have to find these on their own first. If players want to focus on tracking down everything that the mod has to offer, they can easily tell where modded content and other secrets are located. Outside of the Forgotten Notes, different colored fairies will appear next to locations that contain things from Relics of Hyrule.

There are no quest lines that will guide players towards these, though there are plenty of ways the mod still guides players towards its content. These items can appear in locations added by the mod or in base-game locations. Still, items like the Master Sword and the Ocarina of Time are easily recognizable and comparable to their Zelda equivalents.
The same goes for the relics of Hyrule that players will discover, though many of them have had their mechanics changed in order to work in Skyrim. Relics of Hyrule's dungeons strike a happy medium between Skyrim and Zelda's gameplay, feeling right at home with both gameplay styles in mind. There's plenty of secrets in Relics of Hyrule's dungeons, many of which involve puzzles to discover more loot and rewards. The custom dungeons are a refreshing change from Skyrim's default ones since they take a lot of design notes from Zelda's dungeons. The mod adds a ton of unique locations and dungeons that are designed to look like they came from Hyrule. Death is the major theme in Relics of Hyrule's story and it's something that much of the books and journals will explore, giving multiple different viewpoints and interpretations. It's fairly matter-of-fact that Hyrule has been destroyed and that the best the Dragonborn can do is avenge Hyrule by defeating Alduin. It's also stressed fairly early on that there's no real way to save Hyrule.
